Music That Keeps Me Alive
- All 3 Television albums (Marquee Moon is my favorite out of all 3, and my favorite album of all time)
- Anything by They Might Be Giants (one of their early B-sides is where I got my online name from)
- Talkshow Boy's first 3 albums (my personal favorite of his is Watch As I Perform My Own Tracheotomy)
- UNRELATED: Isn't it funny how TMBG and Talkshow Boy are both Residents fans?
- Attention Shoppers, Grievances and Dead Malls, and From Rotting Fantasylands by Nero's Day At Disneyland (God DAMNIT, why is Lauren so talented?!)
- The first 3 Will Wood albums (never heard ICIMI yet)
- DEVO's first 5 albums, and their Hardcore-era stuff
- The entire discography of Talking Heads (aside from Naked, never heard that one)
- Ash In The Sun by Vundabar (better than Alien Blues, in my opinion)
- Both of Richard Hell's albums (their guitar solos rival Television)
- A good amount of songs by That Handsome Devil (I listened to their self-titled debut EP, and their first 2 albums)
- The first 3 Stooges albums, and Iggy's first solo record
- Cardiac Arrest by Madness
- Anything A.J.J. has put out (they're my comfort band)
- Damn near any song that I've wrote (aside from All in the Name, fuck that one)
- You Gotta Lose by Richard Hell (crying shame it never wound up on either of his records)
- A lot of post-punk and art-punk (sucks how people think post-punk is just fucking Joy Division)
- 30 Seconds Over Tokyo by Pere Ubu (Jesus Fucking Christ!!!)
- Any given Residents song (like TMBG and Talkshow Boy, I, too, am a Residents fan)
- The Residents' cover of "Satisfaction" (my fucking GOD, it drags DEVO's cover out to the backyard and beats the shit out of it)
- A good couple of Modest Mouse records
Back to the things I like.
